Laptop Failure (Again)

Posted on June 28, 2010 by justin

So my laptop has been sent in for warranty repairs twice now. This morning, it has once again started failing to boot. Unfortunately, this time it's warranty is now well and truly expired, so there's now nothing to be done for it, but to scrap it. Unfortunately, Pioneer Computing's products just don't seem to be built very well.

It's a shame really, because I only just recently received a fancy new arduino that I've hardly had a chance to play with, as well as a few websites I'm currently building for people. All this now on hold until I replace my laptop.

Speaking of my arduino board, they are plenty of fun to play around with. Currently, I have only a limited supply of parts to play with, and so my projects are all thus simple or even trivial, but they serve as a good base for familiarising myself, and so there will be photos, documentation, and code being posted at irregular intervals on my journey down this new hobby of mine in the future.
