Bought a laptop from pioneercomputers.com.au about 6 months ago. It's been a great little machine, except for 1 MAJOR problem...
The power boards are weak. I've had the power board replaced under warranty once already, and if last night's behaviour is anything to go by, it's starting to die again, and will soon need to be sent back for a new replacement under the warranty. I might be up for a new laptop much sooner than I'd hoped, unfortunately. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed at the quality being provided by an Australian business...
UPDATE: Ok, so I had the power board replaced a second time. It's no longer being used as a laptop, and I bought a shiny new Compaq. The old machine is now a home media server + whatever the hell else I decide to put on it. Eucaluptus maybe.
